Moor to Sea Arts Terms & Conditions for Weekly Classes

1 To reserve a place in a weekly class, please contact Moor to Sea Arts.
2 Moor to Sea Arts works on a three term year:
Autumn Term: September to December
Spring Term: January to Easter
Summer Term: Easter to July
Term lengths will vary.
3 In registering student agree to pay from the date of registration for the remainder of that term.
4 Securing a place:
a To secure a place in any Weekly Class the fee must be paid IN FULL at registration. Fees are payable from the date of joining to the end of term (For exception see clause 5).
b Students may pay in half-termly installments.
If paying in installments the place is secured for the half-term paid for, and reserved for the second half of the term. The second installment must be paid by or during the last session of the first half of the term. Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to re-allocate a place if the balance of the termly fee is not paid at this time.
Students registering for the term who do not to return when the second installment is due will still be liable for the fees for the remainder of the term, and will receive an invoice from Moor to Sea Arts. Moor to Sea Arts may use its discretion in waiving these fees if the class is full and the place is reallocated.
5 Advance booking.
Students may reserve a place before the start of term by agreement in writing with Moor to Sea Arts. Registration will be from the first class of the term, and fees payable for the whole term. Where fees are not received by the first session of term Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to re-allocate the place.
6 ‘Trial’ Sessions: Prospective students are entitled to attend one weekly class session without committing to booking for the whole term. The fee for this session is £12. This does not secure a place in the weekly class (see point 4).
7 Places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis; places are secured on payment.
8 Cheques are payable to ‘Moor to Sea Arts’.
9 The course fee includes all tuition, demonstrations, coffee, tea and biscuits throughout the session. Students bring their own art materials.
10 COPYRIGHT. The copyright for images supplied by Rob or Siân during sessions, in whatever format ( e.g. drawing, painting, photographs) is owned by either Rob or Siân. Permission is given to registered students to use these images during class sessions for the purpose of learning to paint or draw. Artwork made from these images may not be exhibited, sold or given away without prior permission from Rob or Siân.
11 If for any reason you miss the course, or part of the course, we are unable to refund the fee. In registering you accept these terms.
12 Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to cancel classes at its discretion. In this event as much notice as possible will be given and any relevant fees paid to us will be refunded in full. Moor to Sea Arts will not be liable for any additional cost or expense.
13 The fee includes tuition by one tutor per session. Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to decide which tutor attends each session, and amendments to may be made without prior notice.
14 Personal possessions remain your responsibility throughout the course. We suggest arranging your own insurance if you are bringing items of particular value.
15 Your details will be held on file and may be used to send you information about other courses, exhibitions, activities etc. involving Moor to Sea Arts. Your details will never be passed to a third party. If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact us to let us know.
16 Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to amend these T & C without prior notice. Students will be notified when changes are made.
17 In registering you accept these Terms & Conditions.
