auTumn term week 10
Date: 2nd & 3rd December
Tutor: Siân … & Rob, who this week will be playing ‘The Grinch’.
what to bring
If you would like to find your student project in time for Christmas please bring it along with your usual materials.
If you would like to take part in ‘Barbie Week’ and have anything suitable for making Christmas cards that you would like to bring along , please do so. Examples might be watercolour cards, twinkly paints, glittery stuff, ideas for Christmas cards. Watercolour cards are not esssential, but you will need several pieces watercolour paper which not be stretched.
Siân will be bringing some twinkly bits and pieces for you to try in class.
THIS Week: IT’s ‘Barbie Week’!
Siân will be sharing some ideas for quick-to-produce Christmas cards, the idea being to paint and decorate a whole batch rather than designing a single card that you then get printed. if you wish to work on the latter, that’s fine too, but Siân will be concentrating on batch production. the ideas alway incorporate a few watercolour techniques, so it’s just applying some learning/practising to a quick fun project.
it is not intended that you produce the whole batch during the class, but just practise the ideas, and then make your bacthes of cards at home. Unless you are very quick in class and have enough materials with you, in which case, paint away!
