Welcome!

Rob and Siân are pleased to be taking part in the SHAF Arts Trail 2025!

We look forward to warmly welcoming you to visit us at the place where we both live and work. Here, you will be able to view a wide range of our artwork up close, and take the opportunity to have a friendly chat with us about our creative process and the way we work. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply appreciate art, we hope to share our creativity with you in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

DATES: Saturday 11th October to Sunday 26th October

OPENING TIMES: Daily 10.00am to 5.00pm

VENUE 6: 8 Luscombe Close, Ivybridge, Devon PL21 9TT

We truly enjoy meeting fellow artists and art enthusiasts alike, and are very much looking forward to some inspiring and interesting chats during the upcoming Arts Trail. Sharing our creativity is a big part of what we do, whether it is connecting with other artists who understand the process or with those who simply love to surround themselves with beautifully crafted and thoughtfully created pieces. This exchange of ideas and appreciation makes every event special.

We are open every day throughout the Arts Trail, so you will have plenty of opportunities to meet us both in person. However, there may be occasional times when one of us needs to be elsewhere for other commitments. If you would like to be absolutely certain that either Rob or Sian will be here during your visit, please feel free to give us a call beforehand. We look forward to welcoming you!

During the Arts Trail…

  • Sian will be working in her studio, which means you will have the opportunity to see her studio set up in all its creative detail and watch an artist at work— hopefully an inspiring and enjoyable experience! Feel free to ask her any questions you might have about watercolour techniques; it is often much easier to demonstrate these skills in action than to explain them with words alone.

  • If you are one of the many people who have said, “I’d love to be able to paint,” this visit is a perfect chance to chat with Siân and Rob about the Watercolour Classes they run in Ivybridge and Kingsbridge, where they happily teach students of all levels.

  • You will, of course, be able to view many of our original artworks and prints, many of which you will be able to purchase. For the first time this will include many of the original paintings that we made when we were writing our tuition books and making our tutorial videos.

  • Siân is particularly excited to be showing “Devon Hedgerow, May’ a huge watercolour measuring H135cm x W60cm, which has taken her about a decade to complete. Not a decade of constant painting, of course, but an idea that percolated and went through several prototypes. It was an idea that would not let her go until she completed this version earlier this year. She hopes you will like it!

  • A piece of artwork with a meaningful back story acquires a special significance, and during your visit you will have the rare opportunity to view some of our artwork that we simply cannot part with.

  • And of course, if you would like a small momento of your visit we will have a selection items for you to choose from.
