Choose a subject. Time your drawings as shown below; set a timer!
TIME 10 MINUTES. Make a drawing of your chosen subject.
TIME 5 MINUTES. Start a new drawing. Draw the same subject
TIME 2 MINUTES. Start a new drawing. Draw the same subject
30 SECONDS. Start a new drawing. Draw the same subject
Compare your drawings. Make a note of how the reduction in time affected your approach.

OOops, nothing to add? Please send us something you have been pleased with! Remember it does not have to be a finished piece. Colour notes, sketches etc, with a SHORT explanation of what you pleased with. It might be new marks made with a new brush, colour mixes you’ve been trying to achieve or with a new tube of paint, or a subject that you have been trying to paint for a while and you feel you have made progress with it.
