‘homework’ challenge

While playing with new materials and ways of applying paint we hope you haven’t forgotten to do a daily sketch!

This week set a timer for a quick sketch. We suggest either 5 or 10 minutes. When the timer goes off, stop sketching :)

Whatever you have achieved in that time is enough. It’s probably best to focus on the process of sketching rather than thinking you are making a drawing. Psychologically the later always feel as though they are the goal. The goal is to observe and make appropriate marks on paper. Two well considered lines are more valuable for this exercise than a hastily scribbled sketch.
