What to Bring
You will need your paints, brushes, a clean palette and spare, clean watercolour paper. You will need a camera!! We will reusing phone cameras and tablet cameras. If you have both, please bring both. If you do not have tablet don’t worry, it is not essential to being both but will be extremely useful to bring both if you have both.
If you can also bring in a few flowers and/or leaves that would be great. Something from the garden or hedgerow would be fine, no need to buy them.
‘homework’ challenge
Putting in to practise what we cover in class this week by making some colour observations every day. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes each day.

what we saw…
Very convenient splashes of red in the landscape!
Note how the red of the postbox brings out the colour of the hen’s comb.
Red and green are opposite each other on the colour wheel; contrasting colours enliven an image.
