THIS Week: tutor led

This week is the first of three tutor led sessions on our theme for the term ‘Observation’ Rob will take you through a series of exercises aimed at honing your observational skills.

What to Bring

If you have a tablet (iPad or otherwise), please bring it. If you have a smart phone, please bring that. You will also need some sketching paper, and pencils, rubbers etc. You will not need painting materials. (Please don’t forget the correct spectacles this week!)

‘homework’ challenge

Find an object, any object. Stare at it for 5 minutes. Time yourself so that you continue to look for the full 5 minutes.

Imagine drawing it, but DO NOT draw it. Think in terms of line, tone, colour, and look for anything unexpected.
