Our full video library extends to almost 60 hours of tuition. We are currently offering a selection of videos as we evaluate the popularity of offering the videos through a subscription service. We will post the date when we expect to be replacing a video with a different one on each tutorial page. Hopefully the site will be a great success and we can extend the number of videos available!
Our focus is always on how and why we paint something we the way we do, whether we are teaching or painting for ourslelves. Although both of us are completely capable of spending many hours ‘playing’ with paint, colour, textures, and combining them to produce interesting effects the ultimate purpose is, of course, to apply these techniques to our chosen subject matter!
It is for that reason the the videos we made with Art Tutor cover a wide range of subject matter. Our choices were governed by our many, many years of teaching art, responding to the subject matter that our students had painted, and to requests they had made for help in achieving success with the subjects they had chosen.
We hope our initial selection for subscribers is inspiring!
We would be pleased to receive your suggestions by email for which videos you would like us to put up when we change the current list. If you followed us as a member of Art Tutor and would like to see a particular video again please do let us know. It may not be possible for us to reply to your email, but we will be grateful for your input and take note of your suggestions.
