I don’t write a blog very often, just when I have something important to say. On this occasion it is to let you know that for our ‘Open Studios’ event this year Rob and I are taking part in the SHAF Arts Trail in October, and would like to

invite to you to come along and visit us.

I have put up a dedicated page on our website, Open Studios 2025 , for you to peruse, with a few hints of what you can expect when you visit us. I haven’t mentioned cake on there. It is my intention to be offering some when you visit, but those of you who know Rob and his ability to consume vast quantities of cake in a single sitting will understand why I cannot make this as a promise.

And of course there is the art. And a few surprises. Rob bought me a new ‘toy’ earlier this year; I am now as obsessed with mud as he is, but for a very different reason!

SHAF (South Hams Arts Forum) is an association of artists that we are pleased to be members of, and they have done a great job in organising the Arts Trail this year. We’d like to see out a big thank you to the organisers!
