Siân’s inspiration for her Sketching Mitts comes initially from the gorgeous textures and colours of yarns… painting with wool! As an experienced knitter and as an artist herself her designs always keep in mind the practical attributes of the different styles she creates. Sian’s yarns are chosen with eco-friendliness very much in mind. Many of Siân’s fingerless gloves start with a delve through her stash of oddments left over from previous knitting projects, combining colours and textures into charming designs that evolve as she knits. Each delightful pair is genuinely unique!

The design features a ‘short thumb’ cleverly keeps the mitt securely in place while ensuring a comfortable grip of your pencil. The stripy wrist band bridges the gap between hand and coat, keeping you extra cosy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS Treat as pure wool. Gently hand wash in cool water. Do not wring. Re-shape while damp. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
