I decided just before Christmas ‘24 that having our tutorial videos sitting on a hard drive on a shelf in our study, doing nothing other than gathering dust had gone on long enough. Time to do something about it.
I had discovered that we could now purchase additional storage for our website, allowing us to post the videos ourselves. I had looked at other platforms ( YouTube etc ) but did not feel that they gave us the opportunity to teach the way we like to teach. Which is basically sharing everything we know about watercolour and encouraging you to have a go yourselves …you CAN do it!
It’s taken a little longer than I had anticipated getting them up there. I’ve had to learn whole new set of skills myself, always a good thing for an ageing brain. Feeling proud of my newly acquired ability to edit videos I showed my 11 year old grandson; suffice to say I should have shown him month earlier.
I got there in the end! Do take a look!

I am now all set to add to our initial selection, which I hope subscribers will find inspiring and informative. Our hope is that as the number of subscribers grows we can add more videos to the site. In the meantime we will be changing the section periodically, so that we can share as many tips and techniques as we can through new subject matter.
